Sleep Diagnostics
Sleep diagnostic tests are carried out to diagnose a variety of sleep disorders. These diagnostic tests are carried out in conjunction with a Respiratory Physician.

Why Sleep Diagnosis?
Surrounding the airway at the back of the throat lies certain muscles and tissues. When these relax (such as when sleeping), they block the airway, which causes oxygen deficiency and an increased irregular heart rate, which in turn, causes snoring. This domino effect has such an impact on sleep patterns and overall respiratory, that though unknown to the patient, sleep loses its quality and ability to rejuvenate you.
Your health care provider will evaluate your case based on your symptoms and a sleep history. You will undergo minimally invasive tests that often involves overnight monitoring of your breathing and other body functions during sleep testing, either in a sleep centre or at home.
Direct Medical will ensure your health care provider is equipped with cutting edge diagnostics so your specific needs are quickly brought to surface, so your road to quality sleep will begin.
